Hello! I have had my own dogs (family members), fostered dogs, socialized rescue dogs to get them ready for adoption and cared for injured dogs in my home for about 14 years. I do not consider taking care of animals as "work", I truly enjoy all different kinds of dogs and their individual personalities. I understand dogs, like people, have their own quirks and none of it stresses me out. I can get up in the night to keep puppies up with potty training, or meet the needs of a senior dog. Your dog will not have access to "people food" while at my home - unless there's something special that you provide. If your dog is staying with me they will accompany myself and my dogs on frequent trips across the street to a large park. I can also take your dog on an individual walk for more attention. Your pet can have a room of their own while I’m away if that works best. My dogs are crated together during the day. I have a day job and I’m gone from 8-5:30ish. I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. I’m happy to carry smaller dogs up and down the stairs as needed. I have raised puppies and I currently have an 18year old dog and have had other senior dogs as well.
