Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Sarah I am 21 years old and I am a junior in Animal Science at NC State with hopes to attend vet school in the future! I work in an Animal Care Boarding Facility at an animal hospital where I have learned how to deal with a wide range of pets by walking, bathing, cleaning, providing meds, and much more. I am on Rover not only to gain experience for vet school but to also help out families and animals in my community. I am a longtime pet owner and have 11 pets of my own with my mom and sister back home, including 7 cats, 3 dogs, and 1 bunny. I am good with all animals large and small, young and old, and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! :)

I would like to know how active a pet is. For instance, are they shy or timid? Are they full of energy? This way I can be better prepared for our time together. I would also like to know how they are around other dogs/animals so if during our walk we stumble upon another dog or creature, I can react and respond accordingly.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks I want them to find lots of places to sniff. Depending on the dog and the day, we may play around or take a break at a bench or under a shady tree. We will go on adventures through the neighborhood and see what we can find!
