Pet care experience
My partner and I have fostered dogs for a few years and have always had big and small breed dogs in both of our lives. I love large breeds of all kind - Akitas, Chows, Pit Bulls, every dog is welcome! I work with special needs dogs, too, and currently have a pair of special needs chow-shepherd mixes of my own. I’m an active person and love keeping dogs active, too. My partner and I both work from home and are available to sit all day, your dog won’t be alone! We have a fenced yard, a trailhead under a 1/4 mile from our house, and a HUGE dog park only 15 minutes away! My two dogs are very friendly and love to have other dogs around. They’re well socialized and well behaved. I have experience with special needs dogs, dogs struggling with separation anxiety, and neurological problems. I welcome all kinds of furry children from across the spectrum.

Sarah was absolutely amazing with our dog. It was our first time leaving our dog for more than a day and I can say that we weren’t worried at all cause of Sarah. She made sure to burn his energy and dropped in to check on him numerous times a day. We absolutely loved Sarah!!

Sarah was great... very accommodating and patient with a first time Rover user (had a few minor issues on my end!). My two dogs seemed to take to her and she with them. I will use Sarah again for home visits and walks when I have to be away.

Any quirky habits a dog has that can make them more comfortable with me. If they like to sleep under tables or get stressed when people shut doors loudly, I'd like to be aware of that stuff. I am not breed restrictive in any way, I love all dogs. Pit bulls, Akitas, Doberman, Rottweilers, Chows, I am comfortable will any breeds and have worked with them my whole adult life. I also have experience in leash training, command training, and crate training difficult breeds like Jindos and Samoyeds.
A typical day
There’s a trailhead under 1/4 mile from my house, 8 miles long, with two paths - dirt and paved. I love taking my own for walks there or runs on the dirt path. There’s a dog park 15 minutes from my house and it’s enormous!
