Sarah backed out on the same day she was supposed to go over and care for my dog. I was 1600 miles away and my husband was over an hour away working at a new job. She wanted to know if I could find someone else to take care of my dog that day because she was up all night worrying about her car that was not working at the time. She said she was worried about driving without sleep but I thought she said her car wasn’t running so I wasn’t sure what she was going to drive. When she came on Wednesday and Thursday she was brought by a Lyft driver. My dog has bile duct cancer and has to be let out a few times a day. The cancer causes her to drink excessive amounts of water, so she needs to have her water changed and she needs to be let outside because she does drink so much. Sarah did end up coming that morning and let Sadie out and she did feed her and gave water. That was around 11:30 a.m., she was left alone from 11:30 until after 6:00 p.m. Had I not told her to feed her early she would have been hungry , thirsty and lonely. She was only lonely which was bad enough. Rover and I worked together and rushed trying to find someone to take over Sadies care after Sarah told me she could still do Sunday and Monday’s care. She literally canceled at the last minute sending a message to Rover saying she would no longer be able to care for Sadie. A living animal she just left, not to mention a sick one at that. This was unacceptable and I told her just that. Sadie deserved better and so did I. She needs to find a different line of work that does not involve anything living. Do not use her to take care of your pets, she does not care about them.

I can’t say enough about how wonderfully Sarah has taken care of my dog and 2 cats. The first sit was set for 2 weeks, two months later I’m happy to say she is still taking care of them while I’m out of town. All three of my fur babies are so happy when I come home after several weeks. My dog is 15 and needs a bit more love. I know he’s getting it from Sarah since I come home to a very happy little guy! My house is clean and tidy each time I arrive home. She also keeps me informed of any all pertinent mail that’s delivered. I live in a close knit neighborhood and everyone thinks the world of her. The overall experience with Sarah has been great and I hope to have her sit for me in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.
