Pet care experience
I have 15+ years of experience taking care of different kinds of animals, including my own Alaskan Malamute mix, several cats (I currently have 2), a horse, and some chickens. I’ve been on Rover regularly for just over one year and I’ve had a blast bonding with my repeat dog walking clients! Previously, I also spent many of my childhood/teen years caring for other people's horses in exchange for lessons and board for my own horse. I love dogs especially but I don’t currently have one so it’s a treat for me to work with them. (Also happy to help with cats! I love cats) My background caring for many animals has taught me to be sensitive to each animal’s individual needs, as they all have different personalities and preferences. The unique needs of your pet are my top priority. I'm available for dog-walking, dog boarding & doggie daycare, and cat check-ins. My schedule is very flexible.

Sarah was communicative and easy to reach - super grateful for her accepting a last minute booking with a new dog! She was professional and updated pics, walk times, eating, etc to the app which was great to know after a day away from Ziggy. Will def book again if in the Mendo area!
I booked Sarah to walk my two dogs while I was in town for a wedding in Mendocino. She navigated my complicated instructions to get the key and pick the dogs up, wonderfully, and make sure they were well taken care of while I was away. She was a great communicator and responsible.
Sarah is so kind & sweet! Remy took to her immediately and came back from the walk ready for a nap. She brought treats and even gave me a heads up they were running a little late so he could sniff some more.

A typical day
I have a car available so if you’d like I can plan to take your dog to the beach or a particular hike somewhere. Please send them with their toys if they like to play!

Availability
I am self-employed so my schedule is flexible and it can work around your pet’s needs. For doggie daycare clients I can do 2 hour long walks per day in addition to plenty of outdoor time in a fenced yard.
