Hi! I’m Sarah and I recently moved to Manhattan to attend graduate school at Columbia University. I became interested in Rover not only because I desperately need extra income as a student, but also because I miss my black lab Lyla more than I could ever imagine! For the past four years of Lyla’s life I have been responsible for feeding her, playing with her, and taking her on both utility and exercise walks. I am a huge dog lover and would love to help out owners and pups in need! As my classes are currently online, I have a lot of time on my hands and tons of flexibility with my schedule! I am a super dependable and organized person and am really happy to be part of the Rover Community!

I have known Sarah since she was a baby. She has not only helped me with my own pooches during her childhood visits, but has returned to care for my pups in our home as a young adult while my family vacationed. She is not only responsible and trustworthy, her attention to fine details in my home left me worry-free for our family getaways. Also, her athletic active lifestyle lends to lengthy walks that kept our four legged loves happy each day. Lastly, my most vivd "Sarah+pup" memory was when I walked the beach early morn with 5 yr old Sarah and our 2yr old Waterdog. After reminding Sarah to not let go of the leash while I returned to the car, she then got dragged along the sand when suddenly Moxie spotted a seagull or something. Sarah never let go. Never cried. She was just a determined little girl, concerned more for Mox then a few little bruises. Any pooch would be lucky to be loved by Sarah.
Our family has had numerous dog sitters/dog walkers over the years but Sarah is by far the most trustworthy, responsible and caring for our two labs. One of our dogs has had several surgeries at a young age and Sarah was able to keep him both happy and safe according to his walking/movement schedule. Our other dog is more elderly and she is always aware of how both dogs are feeling and doing each day. She is prompt, responsive and easy to communicate with. And the best part is that my dogs absolutely adore her - and you can tell that she truly loves and cares about them!! She is truly a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to all friends and families!
Sarah would be a great dog walker. We have a 4 year old black lab that she adores. She is always so excited to come home and see Lyla. This summer Sarah was home with us because of CoVid and she would walk Lyla everyday. She would take her on the beach and play ball with her and go swimming in the ocean with her. She is always willing to take care of Lyla for extended days if we are away. Sarah has a kind heart. She is currently at Columbia earning her MSN degree so she can continue her education and become a NP. I think Sarah would be a valuable member of the Rover team
