Pet care experience
I have had 1 professional experience with in-home dogsitting of an older pup. This required administering some medications and making sure he was always comfortable. We became good pals after the experience and I had a blast playing with him and making sure he was well taken care of! I am naturally good at training puppies and am firm yet I take a reward-based approach. I've had 3 dogs during my life, 3 rabbits, 3 hamsters, and a duck... and they have all been infinitely loved. I am familiar with lots of different breeds and their temperaments/needs. I am extremely responsible and trustworthy with pets and firmly believe that all pets deserve unconditional kindness.

Sarah dog sat our beloved 100+ pound Malamute for two weeks. She took great care of him; he clearly missed her after we returned home.

I have a huge fenced backyard (technically, 2 full-sized backyards!) as well as close access to hiking spots and Bear Creek Dog Park. I have 3 roommates who are all dog lovers and have the ability to let the dogs outside and give attention if need be.

I love smaller breeds especially, as they are what I have always owned myself. My absolute favorite breeds are Yorkshire Terriers and Pugs. I am not excluding any breeds, however! All dogs are beautiful and special in their own way!
A typical day
I love going on hikes through Garden of the Gods, Red Rocks Open Space, and taking dogs to socialize and play at Bear Creek Dog Park. I can play endless rounds of fetch in my own huge backyard!

Availability
I am a full-time student, but I take classes online and once the semester ends I will have even more free time to spend with your fuzzy friends! I am pursuing remote work which would allow me to work from home, meaning endless opportunities for potty breaks and playtime, as well as healthy walks!
