Four (4) years professional pet care on Rover. Three (3) years volunteer experience at animal shelters, caring for cats, dogs, and small animals. One (1) year volunteer experience at the Smithsonian National Zoo in the nutrition department. A lifetime of loving kindness for animals. I service downtown Silver Spring (20910) mainly* by walking. I work a full time job that is 100% remote with flexible hours. Clients wishing to board their cat or dog can feel comforted by the fact that I am home most of the day. Drop-in visits or dog walking can be accommodated at various times throughout the day. *Should inclement weather occur, a fee of $3-5 per visit will be charged to cover hazardous conditions and/or an alternate form of transportation. I will NEVER cancel a visit unless it is previously agreed upon by the client. A meet and greet is required for all animals, regardless of service. Clients boarding their cat or dog in my home can expect a variety of interactive play options, free rein of the home, constant human contact, and specialized care as needed. For drop-in visits or dog walking, clients must ensure there are no barriers when accessing the home and must disclose the use of security cameras and/or alarms. Clients are asked to be available by phone or text during an initial visit. All clients should check their Rover cards following each visit. Unless specific parameters are discussed beforehand, I will access areas of the home needed to carry out a visit. I communicate frequently and with transparency. Prior to booking, plans are made with each client in case an emergency arises.
