Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 24 years old and Ive been taking care of pets independently since I was about 9 years old when I got my first kitten. Since then, I’ve done pet sitting and dog walking for various family members, friends, and neighbors. Ive always had a very tender heart towards animals and believe they should always receive the best possible care. I believe in doing whatever possible to make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while being separated from their owner/s. Please reach out if you have any questions! :)

Sarah is incredible! She checked in on my two cats every day for 2 weeks. She sent notes and pictures to update me. I never worries about them because I knew she had it covered.
Sarah is absolutely amazing. We haven’t lived in Maine long so we were nervous about leaving our fur babies with someone but she eased our nerves and treated our dog and cat like her own. We will definitely be booking her again!!
Sarah did a great job watching our dog, Scout, for us. She is an excellent communicator and clearly loves dogs. We will be having her watch Scout again for us soon! Would recommend!

I usually try and follow the instructions of the owner. They usually give me a rough idea of what their dogs day looks like and I try to accommodate that. I love spending time playing with dogs who also want to play! Of course daily walks will be included unless instructed otherwise.

A typical day
I'll try my best to base the activities on each dog's individual needs. I understand that certain breeds and ages require different levels of activity and play time and I'll do my absolute best to accomodate that. Whether that be playing outside, going on walks, playing with toys inside, or just getting cuddles and affection!

Availability
I'm currently unemployed and living at home with my parents so I can take care of my mother who is suffering from a horrible brain tumor. I left my job in Illinois about 6 months ago and have been my mother's primary caretaker here in Maine since. Now that my sister is home and helping as well, I have a very flexible schedule for coming and going. I should be able to accomodate most schedules as long as I have a day or two of notice.
