Pet care experience
My parents got our first dog when I was four, a German Shepard, and he was my best friend. I grew up training, walking, and loving him. I am a recent engineering Cal Poly grad and work from home in San Luis Obispo. I am not in a stage where I feel responsible owning a dog of my own but I am capable of helping out with yours! I will do my best to keep your pets feeling happy, safe, and taken care of! For house sits, I will be respectful of your space and privacy. I currently live in a big house with a large, fenced yard, perfect for running around and potty breaks :) I have also volunteered at Woods so I have experience with all sorts of dogs!

I have a large fenced yard, great for potty breaks or a quick game of fetch. I am comfortable using crates for dogs who need it. While handling someone else’s dog, I am cautious on walks and would never let him/her off leash in public. I have also taken a training class for handling aggressive dogs to help out with my parent’s German Shepard.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, preferred treats, allergies/special diet, aggression towards specific groups (ex: my parent’s dog loves everyone except other male dogs), and if you are personally comfortable with me driving your dog to the beach/dog park/etc.
A typical day
I love to play a dog’s favorite game with them! I have a large fenced yard so the world is our oyster. My dog at home loves to chase a laser pointer. I like to go on long walks and explore the neighborhood but my favorite is taking them to the beach. At home, I like to spice things up with some easy training repeating old tricks and maybe even learning a new one!
