Pet care experience
I'm new to Rover but have years of owner experience, and I'm excited to meet your dog! My preferred training style is positive reinforcement, with use of treats, and we take multiple walks a day plus floor play/wrestle time. Grew up with German shorthairs (GSP) in the family, and have a sweet, playful and shy mixed breed girl now. I have experience raising a Boston Terrier, as well. Our household has cared for the following breeds: toy poodle, border collie, pitbull, GSP, Tibetan terrier, whippet, and mixed breed cuties with success.

We use a crate for our own dog at night. We have a large, unfenced yard, so pets are usually on leash when outside. We can accommodate dogs with or without crate training - un-crated will sleep away from our doggie. We have security cameras and lots of outdoor lighting for extra safety at night (we sometimes see raccoons, etc).

Our preference is breeds that use positive reinforcement training, but if you use a different style I will accommodate to what you need. I would love to know where you like your dog to sleep, what treats are allowed/when, any things they're scared of, and what they love!
A typical day
We love to start the day with a morning 1 mile walk, then fill a snuffle mat with breakfast kibble. Naps by the fireplace and backdoor, afternoon wrestling and playing 'squirrels' (catch with stuffed animals), followed by an afternoon walk. Treats and doled out when we train. Dinner time is at 5:00 and we either walk again or lounge at night!

I work from home 2-3 days per week and am home on weekends. In addition, my partner is home most days and can provide care (or at least playtime!) as needed.
