Oct 2022- *Happy to do bookings last minute if I'm free* *I only do house sitting, dog walking, and drop-ins, NOT dog boarding.* *I am insured through PCI- Pet Care Insurance. * I work a full time job 8am-5pm but it is WFH. *I can only do drop ins or dog walks during the weeks days before 8am, during lunch 12pm, or after 5pm! __________________________________________ PLEASE VIEW MY WINTER WEATHER POLICY REPEAT CLIENTS: You should be locked in at your old price so if you see something above what you normally pay, please let me know right away. EVERYONE: Most walks will turn into drop ins if it drops below freezing temps (20 degrees and under) or if it’s really icy and snowy. So we will go out, go potty, and then play indoors. If available and scheduled, I will try to make it out, but due to hazardous weather conditions I might not always be able to make it or I will be late. I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and let you know ASAP if anything comes up. Also due to hazardous weather, I might get stuck at your place! I have a low to the ground car currently and it has happened before. If you live outside of West Des Moines/Waukee/Urbandale, I might be limiting my availability if the weather begins to continuously get harsh until Spring. I love all of my furry friends so much but I also have to be extra cautious with unpredictable weather. So I will let you know ASAP if I feel it will be too unsafe for me to come see them during the winter. ______________________________________________________ Please note that during the week I will try to accommodate any time request you have. But due to doggy behaviors and driving, I may be early or later. I also ALWAYS schedule at least 30 minutes in between bookings to give myself enough time in town. I do better with smaller and medium dogs, although if it is a dog over 50 lbs, I require that they must walk easily and be calm as I am 4’10 and weigh 85 lbs. Or there must be a fenced in yard, a tie out, or an easy walk lead/collar. I have experience caring for my own cocker spaniel and I have babysat other dogs before. I'm friendly with people and I LOVE dogs. I am also happy to care for cats, rabbits, and fish. I am free any day of the week. I love all dogs and I will be happy to watch your pet whenever you're away or check in on them and make sure they're having a great time. I have my own transportation and I am happy sending you updates and photos and videos of your furry best friends.

I will abide by your house rules and, at night I lock all the doors and set any security alarms. I will use crates and baby gates if provided or asked to use them. I always use a leash when I am walking your dog. Sometimes I use my own leashes depending on the size of your dog, I am not a fan of retractable leashes, I prefer traditional leashes. I try to tidy up anything I move when I am over to prevent any accidents or anything getting ruined. If your dog likes shoes, I will move the shoes for example so they don’t get chewed.

I would like to know what kind of food the dog eats, if they have an allergies or special needs, special places they like to go, what their behavior is like, and what kinds of toys they like to play with. I am okay with pit bulls and other dogs known as "bully breeds". If you have a cat or rabbit, I am happy to play with them as well or take care of them. Some cats like to play and others don't, that's alright. Cats are so cute and I love finding ways to engage and connect with them. With rabbits, I love seeing all their quirks and taking care of them. Did you know rabbits can purr and make oink noises? That's true! They have a lot of ways making their feelings known. I believe rabbits can be inside or outside but always need enough space to exercise and have enough toys to keep entertained and to be healthy.
A typical day
We can go on walks around your neighborhood or go to a park. We can play frisbee, fetch, hide and go seek, and explore the world. I am happy to give them all the pets and belly rubs they want. And I would love to play tug-of-war or other games with them. I can also do my best to work on training them in simple commands like sit, lie down, roll over, wave, and other commands you are trying to teach them or want them to learn. When I house sit, I am there when I am not at work or running errands. I cannot do 24-hour house sittings unless it's on a weekend. I treat your house with great respect, always clean up after myself, and I am happy to keep up with chores while you are gone such as getting mail, sweeping, taking out the garbage, etc. I live at your house while you are gone and keep it clean and safe. I also have an overnight bag with my own personal toiletries, clothes, and I like to bring some food as well.

Availability
I’m currently available whenever your pet needs me. I am the most free on the weekends but I am happy to come during the day as well. For overnights, I usually spend the day at your house unless I am seeing other pets or running errands. I am currently only doing house sitting 2 weeks out of the month because I also have cats. 🥰
