Pet care experience
I grew up in a household of fish, gerbils, cats, and a turtle. I watched dogs in my neighborhood when I was young, and have watched pets/houses as an adult on and off for about 13 years. In college I had two guinea pigs, and eventually adopted a dog. After college I adopted a second dog and was the sole caretaker of those two dogs. I have experience with pets that have anxiety, various health conditions, and difficulty interacting with other animals and humans.

Sarah is the absolute best! Our dogs love her so much, they may have been a little disappointed when we came home. She took phenomenal care of our needy beasts and kept them feeling comfortable and loved the whole time.
We knew our pup was in great hands! Lots of pictures and updates, very responsive, Sarah provided great care for our dog!
Sarah is absolutley amazing!
We recently had Sarah house sit our dog for a few days and she was terrific! She provided updates each day on how our pup was doing and had thoughtful questions prior to our departure so we felt all was in good hands before we left. She even put our garbage cans out for us on garbage day and cleaned our dog’s food bowls before we came home. We would definitely use Sarah’s services again in the future!

I will always want to put your mind at ease in caring for your pets. When I am caring for your pet, I will put the same level of patience and love I would do for my own. I have experience caring for many different animals so if you have more than one pet I am perfectly comfortable assisting in any way I can. Have any chores or tasks you may need help with when I stop by? I am open for discussion on what I can do as a caretaker to fit your needs. I can communicate with you as often as you would like with videos, pictures, updates, etc. It can be a very scary experience when leaving a loved one with someone else and I want to reiterate that I want to comfort you in the process.

It's extremely important for me to know any allergies, medical conditions, and what they respond to best. Do you have specific words you use when training or ones they already know? Do we need to avoid other animals or environments that they will find stressful? Are they aggressive with food, being held, etc? Do they have a comforting toy, spot in the house, or activity? I'm extremely patient and willing to do all I can to make sure they are staying safe and happy.
A typical day
As each animal is different, so is what keeps your pet happy and stimulated! Emotional support and attention? Using their sense of smell? Puzzles? Learning new tricks? Fetch? What your pet loves to play is an obvious solution, but I can also experiment and suggest new ones that they will like!
