I have always had a dog growing up and I’m very familiar with the care and required maintenance and the time it takes to care for them. I have flex hours in my job therefore I would be available to give more time and attention to the needs of an animal. Knowing when they can be playful and stubborn and or frightened is an asset. I can be firm yet gentle and sensitive to their needs. I can tell when they need to go outside and do their business and or play. In addition to dogs I’ve always had a cat and my family has two chickens which I have helped to care for. I am a Sociology major and my skills enable me to understand the social world of dogs.
