Even though we don't have one, my husband and I both love dogs. I'm currently home full time, so there is plenty of free time to take care of a dog! We have a fenced in backyard, in a quiet neighborhood and our house is set up so dogs have free reign where its safe. There's a covered back porch to spend time on in poor weather or to get out of the sun. Inside there is all hard floors so messes are not a big deal. We don't have kids, we have a dog friendly cat, and plenty of dog toys, chew toys, ropes, balls, etc. We've both had many dogs over the years of many different breeds shapes and sizes and there's a good vet close by in case of emergencies.
