Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs and have had my own pets for over 20 years, so I know what it takes to keep them safe and happy! I’m happy to host your dog(s) in my home, take your fur baby (or babies) on walks, or drop in and keep them company. I work from home most of the time and have a somewhat flexible schedule, so I can be available for daytime drop ins or walks, and of course your pups can stay at home with me if you choose to board them. Ideally your pup would be crate trained so I can leave them with my crew if needed and not worry about anything going wrong while I’m out. We take our pups to the park just about every day, and weekend time is puppy time, whether it’s hiking or the beach! Your fur babies will have a fun “vacation” with my fur babies if you need to board them at my house! We have a safe, secure fenced in yard with a doggie door, our 50lb dogs fit through it with a little room to spare. Our house is not that big, so we could board up to 2 additional dogs if they are less than or around 50lbs, but could probably only comfortably have 1 additional dog if yours is over that.

Sarah and her pup made Lupin feel as though he'd always been a member of their pack. When he met Sarah and her pup, he had the biggest grin on his face I'd ever seen. The took him for walks and to Fiesta Island. They even let him sleep on the bed (I hope he didn't get any ideas about home! We're not anywhere near as nice). He came home clearly happy and, well, dog tired from all the fun. Lupin is already looking forward to the next time when we go out of town so that he can have a vacation at Sarah's.
Was very commutative, caring and supportive of my schedule and Tuckerman’s needs. I appreciate Sarah P for working with us in a difficult scenario.

I have a lot of experience with dogs that have separation anxiety so I know what it’s like to deal with pups that gets upset. I have administered daily and monthly meds, both injectable and oral to my dogs and am able to do so if you have a pup that needs meds
A typical day
Weekdays tend to be a little less exciting than afternoons or weekends. I work at home but have some time to ply short games & take short walks with the crew. But afternoons and weekends are all about animals and we go to fiesta, dog beach, and if your pup(s) are up for it they can join us on a long (4+mile) walk or run in the neighborhood

Availability
I work from home most days so I can be here to board your pup(s) for daycare provided they get along with my dog and that they don’t need constant supervision during working hours. My office is in the front part of the house and I don’t always have a lens on what’s going on in the living room or yard, so if they can be trusted with a little freedom they’re welcome to chill and play with my pup while I work! I can check on them frequently and take short daytime walks. After working hours i have more flexibility do dedicate more time and attention to our day guests
