I grew up caring for the family dog in addition to sitting extended family and friends dogs. In high school I attended a vocational school to learn basic veterinary science. This is where I was first introduced to basic animal handling and behavior. While I am no longer interested in veterinary medicine I still love dogs and other animals so I decided to continue my education at The Ohio State University studying animal science. Classes at Ohio State have given me a better understanding of animal behavior, care and welfare.
