Pet care experience
I fostered over 50 dogs for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home from 2008 to 2015. Those 7 years taught me a lot about dogs and dog behaviour! I looked after a range of breeds for Battersea in my home - from the very young to the elderly. I'm experienced in managing behavioural issues and have tended those with significant medical needs.

Sarah was absolutely amazing. Looked after our cats so well, sent us lots of updates. They had such a good time they weren’t bothered when we came home!
Meeting Sarah has been a revelation. After an initial meeting, we had no hesitation that she was the right person to walk our reactive dog and he has taken to her very well on that first walk. We look forward to many more walks in the future.

I have my own dog who will stay at home whilst I look after yours, unless they get on well and are happy to be together. When staying at ours I have a small fenced garden of my own, as well as communal gardens for quick breaks and toileting. I'm 5 minutes from Wandsworth Common, and 15 minutes from Tooting Common. Whether I'm collecting your dog for a walk or sitting with them in your home whilst you're away, I will treat your home and your pet with care and respect.

A discussion about your pet is really important and a chance to meet them with you before the first handover/pick up is a great way to learn everything about your pet and for you to ask me any questions. If that's not going to be possible let's talk on the phone or FaceTime before you book.
A typical day
My priority is the welfare of your pet. It's important they feel secure and comfortable and their needs are fully met. So tell me what they enjoy, what they don't like and what's their idea of heaven, then I can ensure they get the care that's just right for them. Long walks, short walks, cuddles or alone time, playtime or just a really nice nap - their preferences will be my mine :)

I'm self-employed so my work pattern varies from week to week, which is why last minute bookings work well for me. Whatever your pet needs please just ask - I'll be happy to help if I can.
