Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats all of my life. I know what they love and I understand their unique personalities. On the weekends we are happy to take the pups hiking with us or just hang at home and play. We live near many dog parks and are not afraid of inclement weather. We have a fully fenced yard that is safe for dogs to play in too. My family consists of two kiddos, 16 and 9 that love all animals. We have a 1yo pit mix, Willow, that is very well socialized to all sorts of dogs. My cats are dog friendly too. If your dog wants to chase them, they have plenty of places to run and taunt your dog from.

I’ve left Milo with Sarah multiple times and she takes great care of him every single time! Milo looks forward to staying over at Sarah’s and her kids!

Sarah was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Dean. Dean can be a handful with his anxiety issues, but Sarah was very understanding and attentive with him. She was responsive to my messages, and sent me updates about Dean’s status. I felt comfortable and relaxed leaving him with her. She was also very accommodating to my schedule.

My pup is crated at night and is happy to stretch out or chew on toys in a warm house during the day, or we have a great back room that I am preparing for the colder months that will have a dog door in the coming weeks.

I would love to know their demeanor around children and other animals. I have no breed preferences. My dog does love to play, as he is still a young guy. So if your pup isn't okay with that or is aggravated easily, maybe our home isn't for you.
A typical day
We live close to Iroquois park and love to put our pup in the car and go for walks there, or go to the Morton Ave dog park for socialization and dog fun. We also have a ball cannon that is a favorite of my pup and our dog friends.

I work full time as a machinist, but my work is five minutes away and I come home at lunch to care for Willow and make sure he has some running and potty time. My weekends are generally open, so last minute asks are welcome.
