My parents are originally from Hong Kong and growing up, we spent our summers there so we were never able to get a dog. Because of this and my love of dogs, 7 year old me would beg my parents to let me sleep over at my grandparents’ and cousin’s houses so I could help walk and feed their dogs. I was also my neighbor’s go-to dog sitter for their golden retriever when I was in high school as well as a dog sitter for my family members' dogs. Even before I became a sitter on Rover, I was known to send pet parents a multitude of pictures and provide frequent updates as I understand how hard it is for pet parents to be away from their beloved animals! I have been a small pet owner my entire life, raising turtles, hamsters, chinchillas, and rabbits.
