Hello! My name is Sarah and I have over 10 years experience working with dogs and cats - including pet sitting, walking, and working as a veterinary technician. I am available to take care of your pet while you are away either in my home or yours. Watching your pet in your home will allow you to leave them at home stress free while you are away. This eliminates the stress of leaving your dog in a strange environment and allows them to keep their normal routine. With you, I will create a customized care schedule that allows me to care for your pet on their normal schedule, keeping them happy and relaxed. I offer special care such as extra walks or training for puppies, dogs that need medication, geriatric dogs, or dogs with behavioral "issues." Why I love dog sitting Besides owning dogs growing up, I begin dog sitting and walking over 10 years ago for neighborhood pets. After working as a vet tech for several years, I started dog sitting full time 3 years ago and have continued to care for dogs around the Seattle area by doing overnight dog sitting as well as dog walking and training. I am experienced working and caring for all types, ages, sizes of dogs. Through working with a behavioralist each week at my veterinary clinic, I gained experience working with dogs with behavioral issues and special needs as well. My experience administering medication Yes I am comfortable administering any type of medication - including giving daily subcutaneous fluids for dogs in kidney disease, oral meds, or injecting insulin for dogs with diabetes.
