Hi, I'm Sarah! I work as an archivist in Washington, DC and live in Pigtown in Baltimore. I grew up in an animal-loving family with lots of cats and dogs (many corgis and rescue dogs), and a few hamsters. I'm currently the proud owner of a senior pug named Puggy. If you’re looking to get away for the weekend, I can care for your pet/s from Friday evening to Sunday. My husband also has experience walking dogs (500 -5 star ratings on Wag!). We often take our Puggy to the dog park and for long walks around the neighborhood. We also have a fenced in backyard if they want a little more outdoor time. We’d love for your pup to join us! My other experience includes: -I worked as a kennel attendant at a very nice veterinary office where I walked and fed dogs, assisted during examinations, cleaned the kennels, and even fed a sick iguana. -I regularly pet sit for friends' dogs and cats. I have administered medication in pill or liquid form to their pets, as well as having done the same for my own pets. -I like to walk. During a normal work week, I walk at least 2 miles a day so walking your pup long distances is not a problem! -I think our pets are unique as we humans so I would tailor visits with your pet to their tastes and needs.
