Professional Care For Peace of Mind
Pet care experience
Caring for animals has always been my passion in life. I have had many beloved pets growing up, including; cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, parakeets, lizards, hamsters, and a mouse. I have always cared for other people's pets throughout the years. Now, I am a full-time professional pet sitter, and have been doing so for over a year. I would love to care for your pets like my own! I am pet CPR/Red Cross Certified. I can administer medication as well as injections as an additional service, and am experienced working with special needs dogs and cats! I have taken veterinary science, where I studied animal anatomy and worked with and cared for the class pets as well. I also volunteered with Cats In Need, a non-profit no kill organization that works with Petsmart, to get cats into forever homes. I have an Associates Degree, and I am currently in school to get a Bachelors Degree in Biology, with a focus on Zoology. My goal is to study and work directly with wild animals in order to preserve them.
Reviews
Sarah is an exceptional dog walker! I love that she is knowledgable in dog psychology. I am an extremely picky person when it comes to who watches or walks my two dogs. Both my dogs are very different from each other and Sarah has taken the time to get to know each of my dogs needs and differences. I know when my pups are with her they are in good hands! They also get sooo excited when she comes to get them for a walk! It makes me happy to see my pups so happy to exercise. Sarah is timely, super sweet and loves animals so much! Trust me when I say your dogs are in great hands :)

Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. I have hands-on experience with all sizes, from the tiny chihuahua to the huge english mastiff! I would like to get to know your pups habits, such as; Are they comfortable around strangers? Do they like to chase smaller animals? Are they dog friendly or not? Do they have separation anxiety? (Go potty in the house or any other out of the norm behaviors when you leave?) Are they food or toy aggressive? Will they try to bolt out the door? Any medical needs?
A typical day
I love to see a dog happy and fulfilled, getting the love and exercise they crave. I can accomodate many types of "walkers". I can do slow, leisurely walks for the elderly pets, and brisk walks or destination hikes for the more energetic pups. We can also do a play session in your own backyard with their favorite toys! Or, simply snuggle and give them lots of love. Cats, dogs, or any other little critters will receive the care they need while you are away! I can come to your home and give them love and attention, see to their bathroom needs, and make sure they have plenty of food and water. In my stop in visits, I can also do light plant watering and bring in your mail, to make it look like someone is still home while you are away! Meanwhile, your furry loved one gets to stay in the comforts of their own home, without the stress! I can provide; In-Home Visits + 15 minute stop-in = $11 + 30 minute visits = $19 + 1 hr visits = $25 ***All visits occur at your home to keep your pet's routine familiar to them, and include feeding, potty-time, love, and play time. (Up to 4 pets.) Dog Walks + 30 minute walk = $19 + 1 hour walk = $25 *** For 1 dog. Up to 2 dogs can be walked during a session for an additional $7. + 1.5 hr destination walks or hikes (round trip)= $50 (up to 2 dogs included) Other Services + Oral Medication Administration= Free! + Injections= $7/per pet per visit. + Basic Bath (I just need a bathing area, towel, and brush!) = $15 *** Additional dog= $5 + Pet Taxi (3 mile radius)= $13 one-way
