I am a very fun and affectionate person and I absolutely love all animals! I believe that it's just as important to engage your best dog friend's mind as it is to engage their body with physical activity. I offer fun and exciting walks to new and interesting places so that while you're busy at work, your best friend is happy and content. And when you get home you can both relax together. I have a great amount of respect for all animals and it is important to ensure their happiness and safety at all times. Dogs have busy minds and busy bodies and the most important thing for them is to be engaged with the world around them. I'm the perfect fun dog sitter for your best friend! And as for cats they also need lots of things to do and keep themselves busy and occupied. Being able to hear and smell what's going on outside is essential for your cat. Having something fun to scratch and toys that keep their mind and bodies engaged will keep them from being destructive and make them happy. I have four of my own cats and I offer behavioral consults. I've had cats all my life and I worked for an veterinarian that did exclusively cat clientele. If you have questions about your cat's behavior and would like me to observe anything in particular, just let me know and I can absolutely help out with anything cat related. From diet to behavior I am your cat expert.

I want to first of say that Sarah seems very sweet and like an animal lover. The reason for my 3 stars is because during the time when she was supposed to be walking my dog she took her leash off and let her run in our backyard that is NOT fully fenced. This was scary because she could have seen another animal and ran after them. When she took my dog outside she also left the front door unlocked while she was gone. Lastly, she also gave my dog treats that she brought herself, i believe this was with good intentions but I would have appreciated if she asked first because my dog could have allergies. My instructions could’ve been more specific so I will take some responsibility but I feel an experienced dog walker wouldn’t do these things.

I can not say enough about Sarah. This was my 1st time using this app and immediately she made me feel comfortable. Sarah took amazing care of my dogs. They were so happy. I know sometimes it can be tedious to throw the ball over and over again, and sometimes you feel guilty when you don't want to play like that. I get it! I'll do it for you :-) and believe me they won't love you any less. I can administer most medications including diabetes insulin shots, liquid meds and some pilling depending on your dog or cat.

If your dog is on medication I would be happy to know that. I would also need to know how you feel they react around other dogs and dog park situations. I'm also very happy to just keep your dog on a leash if you prefer that they not go to the dog park. Any other pertinent information that you think is relevant would be welcome.
A typical day
My favorite places go with dogs are local parks. I'm very close to hook mountain and they know the trails there well. I also live near the South Nyack dog park and know many of the dog owners there. Other parks I've taken clients to include Kennedy Dells and Rockland Lake. I believe that a dog needs to get off the leash in order to really run and stretch their legs so a dog park is an ideal place to go. I can play with a dog until they get bored with the game rather than the other way around so whatever your dog likes to play, I will play! But I find I can provide just as much entertainment with a dog who's on leash the whole time. I know when they want to sniff and they know we're interesting things are as I'm attuned to what they're looking for. I rarely do the same walk twice so even if I walk your dog everyday, they will get to experience new things and that will keep all of us happy :-).

I do this full time so whenever you need me, ask me. I'm extremely accommodating! I truly adore spending time with animals and I love meeting new animals as much as I love returning to the cats and dogs I've already been privileged to meet. This isn't just a job, it's a passion. I guarantee your pets will enjoy their time with me. Even if they're anxious or scared or whatever, I promise they will have a good time when they're in my care.
