I have years of professional experience as a dog/house sitter and love animals, going on walks and finding a reason to get outside. I worked as a professional dog/house sitter in Park City, UT for 3 years and just moved to Portland, OR I work in public relations for various technology companies and am passionate about biking, cooking and attempting to grow my own vegetables. I look forward to getting to know you and your pet as I explore the North West.

We used Sarah for the first time when we had a last minute weekend trip and she was phenomenal. You can always tell when someone is a dog person, and so can your dog! Dash was very comfortable with Sarah from the start. She took Dash hiking, for long walk and gave her plenty of love and affection. We recommend Sarah to all our friends. Knowing your pet is happy, healthy, safe and exercised while you are away is a fantastic feeling.

I have a fairly small apartment so would prefer to care for the dog at your place and am happy to stay overnight. No breed preferences - I grew up with large dogs and am comfortable with all breeds/sizes.
A typical day
I am happy to stay at your house or property to make the dog feel more comfortable and keep its routine. I love taking dogs for walks, to the park to play fetch, and if your pet is up for it on a hike in one of the many amazing areas near Portland (Forest Park is a favorite). I get up early so am happy to take your dog for a walk first thing in the morning and love a good evening stroll after dinner.
