I am a true lover of animals and have been caring for pets all my life! Besides small people, dogs and cats of all kinds, I have raised rabbits, birds, tropical fish, reptiles and even friendly rodents. I foster dogs and cats through the West Michigan Humane Society and have enjoyed reliably caring for pets of friends, family and neighbors while they were away. I’ve have had success with: *Walking dogs and cats (yes, cats!) *Formal dog training *Redirecting reactive or anxious dogs *Exercising highly active pets *Caring for pets post-surgery (administering medication, giving injections, wrapping bandages) *Raising mischievous kittens *Senior care, and nurturing animals nearing end of life *Transporting animals safely in the car and maintaining a calm environment when needed *Training disagreeable animals to cohabitate, and even become friends! *Separating animals who need to stay apart for medical/behavioral reasons *Purchasing way too many dog toys (can't help it) *Flaunting very fancy treats (see headline) *Sending adorable video clips of your babes while you're regrettably apart I get pets!! I work with escape artists, grumpy pants, goof balls, wallflowers, snobs, wild ones, dopes, clowns and loafs. I understand that our animals are our best friends and beloved members of our families, and not just household props. It is a privilege to care for fur babies and you can trust me to take this responsibility seriously. I know the anxiety that comes with trusting a stranger to follow your instructions and care for your creatures responsibly while you are away.
