Sarah has taken care of my pets many times. She is conscientious about my home’s cleanliness (actually swept up after my kitten decided to make a litter art project) and security (left a light on when she knew I was coming in after dark). She interacted well with my neurotic dog who trusts no one and has a tendency to be snarl-y; they’re kinda best buds now. The most amazing thing, and something that’s near impossible to find, is that she knows how to handle exotic pets. She is a parrot owner who understands birds’ needs. I never have to worry that she’ll leave a door propped open, use an aerosol product in my home, or not recognize the very subtle signs of birdie distress. She even surprised my beardie with crickets on her last visit (after checking with me to make sure it was ok to do so). Finally (she can’t get much better) her own pets have special needs, so she’s trustworthy with medications, med schedules, and elderly pets. A very high recommendation from a fierce pet mama who has to travel often.
