Pet care experience
I do not have any pets of my own currently so, if your pet doesn’t work very well with other pets, that won’t be a problem for me. I’m great at taking dogs on walks/to the dog park, making sure they are bathed, and giving them the proper dosage of daily cuddles. For the sake of transparency, I have unfortunately been bit by a dog in the past. Because of that, I like to make sure that pups are well mannered before booking. 👍🏼

Sarah did a great job. Four senior animals, two of which require daily medication. The house and animals were all in good shape when we returned home.
Sarah has been an absolute gift from the heavens. We met up before booking the house-sitting and I immediately felt confident and comfortable leaving my baby in her care. She kept me well updated while I was away, sent photos, adjusted easily as care instructions got updated mid-stay, and I had zero concerns or moments of worry about my pups well being. I would 20/10 recommend Sarah to anyone!
Sarah is amazing! She watches our dog whenever I need to leave town for work and he’s always ecstatic when she comes over. He can be shy around new people but he warmed up to her really quickly. Plus, Sarah’s pet photography skills are great!
Sarah is incredible with animals and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She watches our dog BlueBell and cat Willow every time we leave town, takes our mail in, and sometimes tends our plants! BlueBell sometimes gets more excited to see Sarah than she does to see us! We wouldn’t trust our babies with anyone else. Thank you Sarah!

Let me know if your dog has any special diet restrictions or any behaviors I should be aware of. I have experience with anxious/skiddish dogs and dogs with lots of energy. I pride myself on being a comforting person for dogs and I have a great track record of dogs being very comfortable with me as well.
A typical day
Fun activities can really vary depending on the dog, weather, and time of year. Things I’ve done while dog sitting include going on walks, hanging out at the park, walking around the downtown farmers market, finding friends at the dog park, or just walking on a dog friendly trail near town.

Availability
I always had pets growing up (Boxers, and an Australian terrier) and I absolutely loved it. I frequently dog sit for family and friends but I’d love to do it more. I’m a mental health professional and a photographer. Feel free to ask about professional pet photos if you feel inclined. 😊 I currently work for the school district and generally work the hours of 9am to 2pm so I will have plenty of time for your furry family member. :)
