I love dogs! I grew up dog-sitting for neighbors and had my own Golden Retriever for 10 years. If you're working on training, I am happy to adjust to your system and stick to the rules. I work from home in Cambridge, so having a break to go outside and stretch my legs with a furry friend is my favorite part of the day. As an outdoor lover, I'm also happy to be outside in any weather. I can also accommodate tricky pets/situations - I had a client with two bulldogs who did not get along, so I used her system of giving each one half of the house (one had the kitchen and backyard, the other had the rest of the house), and swapping them in the middle of the day, with no problems. I would be happy to give your dog or cat the special care they need!

Sarah would be a wonderful dog sitter for Rover.com. She is a mature, energetic young woman who has a love of the outdoors, of adventure, and dogs! She has supervised/dog-sat for two of our dogs on many occasions. She is acutely aware of dog behavior and body language and facial expressions. She is also very familiar with controlling dogs and prompting good behaviors when under her care. I high recommend Sarah and am confident dog owners will consider themselves lucky to have he as a sitter/care giver for their dogs!
Sarah is a friend to all the dogs she meets. We can't walk down the street without a running commentary and every dog, big and small, that we walk by. When my parents needed a dog sitter for their timid dog that had some attachment issues, she was the right choice. Even a dog that was pretty on edge about about not having her owners around, Sarah knew how to be attentive and comforting without making the dog nervous. Sarah is responsible, caring, and enthusiastic. I would trust her with any of my pets, and recommend her for anyone who's looking for care or love, or even just needs someone to help burn off some energy. Pick Sarah! You won't regret it.
As Sarah’s mother, I can say she has loved dogs for a long time. Besides having her own Golden, in college she also dog-sat, and now takes the in-law’s dog camping. I’m sure her own dog is in her future.
