Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Sarah. I am an animal enthusiast who would love to help out with your furry family members. I work as a full-time special educator during the day, but need some animals in my life! I love walking, and would love to help take care of your pets while I'm at it. I had dogs growing up (beagles and one dachshund mix rescue pup), and have pet-sit for dogs, cats, rats, you name it, in the past. Additionally, I worked for several years in an animal-based non-profit, connecting children with animals! I am available in the mornings before school, and after school lets out at 4. Sarah has been an animal lover (and especially dogs) from the beginning. Her family had a beagle since she was born, and she loved them all with her whole heart. She helped assure that one was "drown-proof" as a puppy, to protect from potential accidents in our backyard pool. Sarah took our 14 year-old beagle into her home after we moved cross country and were building our new home, providing wonderful loving care in what would be his final year of life. She interned and then was hired as staff for a non-profit in Washington, DC (PAL), that utilizes therapy dogs in school programs. She will be a great asset to Rover, and will provide tremendous love to all dogs she cares for!
Sarah always took such great care of my border collie, Cash. I always had complete peace of mind—Sarah would send daily pictures of Cash and be sure to give updates, and he was always the happiest boy upon returning home. I fully trust Sarah with the care of my pups!
