If you're away, your pet can play!

Pet care experience

My name is Sarah and I have five years experience as a Veterinary Technician. I am able to administer medications (oral or subcutaneous I.V.) and give daily injections if needed. We live within 6 miles of Deussen dog park if your pet needs extra room to play. We are available 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. About this sitter: I am a friendly, outgoing person who loves to take care of pets. It has been my passion for years and I take this opportunity very serious. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and will offer nothing less than love and dedication while caring for them. I am currently a domestic engineer (stay-at-home-mom/wife =) I have two fantastic daughters, and an awesome husband. Why I love dog sitting I have been a pet lover all my life and have owned all shapes and sizes of animals. I graduated from the Vet Tech School of Houston in 2010 with an Associates of Science in veterinary technology. I learned how to nurture pets (domestic and exotic) through clinical and classroom experience. I currently live in an apartment and I'm not allowed to have "visiting" pets, but that won't stop me from coming to you. If it's to let them out to play, or cleaning a littler box while your away, no job is too small.

My dog stayed at Sarah's for the 1st time and everthing went real well. Sarah and her husband were very nice and welcomed our dog into there beautiful home. While we were out of town Sarah even sent me pictures showing me how my dog was doing. That was very comforting to know he was doing well. Thanks Sarah for taking care of Beaux.

Sarah has cared for my lab-mix since he was a puppy. She has a passion for animals unlike anyone I've ever know. You should feel absolutely comfortable that your pet will be in good hands. She is very knowledgable on behavior and possible ailments your pet may have. Highly recommend!

Dear Rover.com, I am please to tell of my experiences with Sarah. My family and I have known Sarah for several years. We met her when she worked at a vet clinic and we took our animals there. Sarah had a wonderful way with the animals at the clinic so when it was during a time that we had to go out of town for several days, we asked Sarah if she wouldn't mind keeping our pooch and that we would gladly pay her. (By the way, we've never left our dog with anyone.) She accepted and I've never felt so confident that our "Max" was in great hands. Sarah actually offered to go to our home and feed our outdoor kitties. She was great and we've never left our pooch with anyone else but Sarah. I promise that whoever decides to use Sarah as their "Best Friend Sitter", they won't be disappointed. Thank you again for the opportunity to help Sarah out with her opportunity. Mrs. Cathi Hernandez

Pets MUST be spayed/neutered and house trained. This is an absolute requirement. Also, up-to-date on all vaccinations (most recent vet records required), well behaved around small children and get along with other dogs.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks In my neighborhood, the route that I take my dog is roughly 20 minutes long. We stay on the sidewalk and there are no main intersections with high traffic. It's well shaded and easy to travel. These walks are taken early in the morning or late in the evening. Dog park visits are in the evening as well. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Their own bed is preferred. If one is not available, we will make accomodations to suit what your dog is used to. Time I'll spend with your dog I work from 3pm-9pm at which time my husband is home. All other hours, I'm at home.
