I have cared for many of our friends and neighbors’ dogs throughout the years and just recently started doing it professionally. I love to play and exercise with dogs and am comfortable administering medications, reinforcing training. I work especially well with high energy pups! My husband and I are runners and can give your dog(s) as much exercise and attention as they desire. I will care for your furry friend as if they’re my own and appreciate you trusting me with their care.

Sarah is such an amazing sitter! She cared for our fur babies as if they were her own. She was patient and figured out ways to make the time work. We will definitely ask her again to watch them.
Sarah did a great job taking care of our Ewok while we were gone for the day! We came home to a very happy puppy :) We will gladly hire Sarah again for any future drop in visits we may need.

My home has a small fenced-in backyard where pups can be let out off-leash. I also have a large crate suitable for most dogs if your pup needs to be crated. My own dog, Sophie, is very welcoming to furry friends! In clients’ homes I can accommodate any directions you like.

A typical day
I love to engage dogs in all kinds of mental activities! I love to use food puzzles and treat-dispensing toys to get dogs’ brains working. I live an active lifestyle and will take dogs on walks, sniffing adventures, and can even take your dog on a run if that is their preferred level of activity. When I’m watching your dog at home, we will have lots of cuddles and I always send photos to keep you updated.

Availability
I am an elementary school teacher so my work hours are very predictable. For drop-ins I can stop at your house before school, and get home from work at 3:45pm to be available for evening care. During the months of June and July, I am available all day, every day to give your pup quality care and attention!
