I've lived with dogs almost my entire life, and the years I went without were spent pining for another. I grew up with a chocolate lab and a german shepherd. My current four-legged friend is a wonderful blue brindle staffy mix named Smudge. I've worked at several doggy day cares over the years, where I would spend my time cleaning up after and caring for large numbers of dogs at a time. I am comfortable giving medications, keeping to specific diet and exercise routines, and cleaning up any mess. I am familiar with a wide variety of breeds in all different shapes and sizes. From the smallest rat terrier to the largest great danes and mastiffs, I have cared for them all. Every dog I've cared for I've treated and loved as I would my own. I do work full-time during the week, but I am free for entire weekends. My job also allows me a lot of freedom in travel and hours during the week, so I am available in the early afternoons on Fridays and into the early mornings on Mondays for slightly extended weekends. I'm also available in the evenings for drop-ins during the week.
