I'll watch your exotic animals!

Pet care experience

To start I would like to let you know that I will also care for fish (fresh or salt water including eels), goats, reptiles, etc. The only thing I don't take care of is insects. Throughout my 33 years of life I've had 5 cats, 3 dogs, a cockatiel, a hamster, two turtles, two hermit crabs, and countless fish and snails. I've also volunteered for the Manchester Animal Shelter and watched countless animals for family members, friends, and neighbors. In the future I hope to either adopt a dog or own a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. For house sitting only: please fix all repairs needed in your home if it will cause an inconvenience to not only myself but also the animals. I don't mind being there if someone needs to come by to do a repair. If your dog has extended potty issues, please make me aware before the stay and have a plan with your vet on how to remedy the issue. I will help in any way I can! I have fixed an array of things in the houses I've stayed in and am also very independent when it comes to problem solving. I know how to run a generator as well as unplugging the generator and turning your power back on. Things I've repaired so far: Ice makers, resetting confusing clocks, TV screen issues, garage door alignment, and assistance with WiFi issues. When you're away, I pride myself in not stressing you out when I have a situation handled and there's nothing you could do in that moment. The last thing I want is for you to feel helpless while on vacation.

Sarah was amazing! She took care of my cat while I was in Ireland. My cat is usually a very shy cat who runs and hides when new people come over, but he warmed up to Sarah right away! My cat and I are very appreciative of her!!

I'm very cautious to follow all the rules paw-rents set for their fur children. Feeding and potty schedules are very important, especially for certain animals like dogs who depend on their humans. Depending on the service you're looking for, I'm willing to do what's necessary in order to keep your pet comfortable.

Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet

For house sitting: please fix all repairs needed in your home if it will cause an inconvenience. I don't mind being there if someone needs to come by to fix anything. If your dog has extended potty issues, please make me aware before the stay and have a plan with your vet on how to remedy the issue. I do not know dog CPR but am good with the rest of first aid. Please let me know about: - location of food - location of leash/collar - where they go potty - any special medications and the time they are taken - any health issues such as lumps, bumps, allergies, aggression, anxiety, depression, etc. -(for house sitting) time you need me to arrive and time when you come home. It's important to know about their schedule and any special requests. I also like to know their opinion on dog parks as I know they can be dangerous with offleash dogs. I'm more than willing to work with different sorts of dietary restrictions just please be sure to leave detailed information. I'm a quick learner!

A typical day

Living in the Manchester area there are many places to walk. Livingston Park is a great place to walk as well as up and down River Road. I also like to go to Mines Falls. I only go to dog parks unless requested by the pet parent.

I currently work remote in Manchester, NH from my apartment so I'm able to fit pet care into my schedule. I'm willing to work from anywhere that provides Wi-Fi. I'm also willing to do overnights if needed. Once I move into a pet friendly apartment I will also start offering overnight boarding.
