Pet care experience
Since I was very young, I have cared for almost every pet that family and friends have had. I am a vegetarian and treat absolutely every animal and pet with the love, care, and respect that they deserve. It also brings me so much joy to care and have fun with pets. I lived with and cared for my own kitties- Magic & Midnight from 2002-2021 and adore all kitties. I have cared for kitties in a professional capacity since 2022 on and off Rover. I can feed, clean up after, administer oral medication to, play, and of course snuggle with and pet your kitty. I can also take your kitty or kitties for a walk if that's a regular thing you do. Although I have never been a pup parent, I have loved them my entire life and have cared for many pups in a personal capacity since 2006 and professional capacity since 2022. I can walk, bathe, clean up after, feed, administer oral medication to, and of course pet and play with your pup. I have also done basic pup training such as teaching how to sit, lie down, wait while serving food, not pull on leashed, socializing, and come. I will also continue any established training you're doing with a trainer. I have also had basic experience caring for bunnies, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I can feed, clean up after, administer oral medication to, and of course pet and play with your fuzzy little pets. I've lived on and off in the area since I was a child so I know the area fairly well. I know of all the awesome natural spaces, parks, and trails in the area. I can also stick to exploring your pets neighborhood and favorite places. You can trust that your pet will have a wonderful time with me!

My wife and I found Sarah on Rover because we were planning a destination wedding with all of our friends and family. All the people we usually ask to watch our dog, our cat, or take care of our house would be joining us for 10 days in another country. Understandably, we were apprehensive about entrusting all that to a person we did not know. When we connected with Sarah, a few months before, we chatted and discussed organizing a meet and greet and then having Sarah do some regular dog walks in the weeks leading up to the event. At every step of the way, Sarah was prompt, communicative, friendly, honest, and above all, incredibly caring and loving to our animals. Before we left, Sarah checked in once more with a detailed review of all the logistics we had discussed for the stay. Sarah arrived as planned and spent 10 days taking the best care of our dog Mia, our cat Tar, and looking after our entire house. She stayed at the house overnight, took Mia for walks each day, played with Mia in the yard, and spent some quality comfort time in the house with both Mia and Tar. She updated us daily with pictures of the animals as well as information about the day’s activities and how the animals were doing. We were always fully comfortable that our house and animals were in the best of hands. We will continue to hire Sarah in the future for house sitting and pet care needs and give her the highest recommendation.
Another great experience with Sarah! She watched our two dogs (and our house) for eight days, and we couldn't be happier. One of our dogs is typically quite anxious after spending a week with a sitter, but this time, he was completely relaxed when we returned. I attribute this to the level of attention Sarah provides and the amount of time spent with them every day. In addition to how well the dogs were taken care of, Sarah left our house in perfect shape. Clean towels, clean sheets, trash taken out, etc. I highly recommend booking her for your next trip!
Sarah is great with my pets, provides detailed updates and is caring and considerate of my home. I’m comfortable knowing I’ve left everything in good hands.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book Sarah again!

A typical day
I have favorite places surrounding the area for your pet and I to play. I am also able to stick to your pets already loved favorite places. I do walks or outdoor exploring for both kitties and pups in an assortment of places, such as trails, established fields, through neighborhoods, and on short hikes. I’m also able to go to dog parks or have established puppy or kitty play dates.

Pet care is my part time job currently. I currently have several regular *as needed* clients on and off Rover for a few kitties and pups either professionally through my own business or through Wag!. Although I prefer advance notice for as needed or regular walks and drop-ins, I am sometimes able to book day of.
