Frito Paws 🐾 LLC

Pet care experience

Welcome to the amazing introduction of the best pet sitting services: Frito Paws LLC DISCLAIMER: Payment for booking requests that include a Holiday Week (Thanksgiving & Christmas) must be paid ASAP the lock in those dates for your pet(s). I work as a first come, first served basis. Payment on a booking request locks it in and no other client can steal that spot that is paid in advanced. In regards to typical every day bookings: Payment for a booking request is expected the day of Drop -Off (of course, you may pay beforehand to knock it out when you are ready to do so.) ___________________________________________ **PICK UP TIMES MUST BE BY 5PM; if returning back to your home is after that time another night will need to be charged. ___________________________________________ (Make sure your pet is CURRENT on effective Flea & Tick preventive; we treat the first 30 feet around our home, but fleas can breed outdoors easily and they will lay 50-90 eggs per day; and they will hatch & cause your pet to suffer if not on flea & tick prevention.) ___________________________________________ Meet and greets at my home and property are scheduled by appointment only. Virtual Tours are sent to assist those who are immune compromised during this uncertain time dealing with COVID-19 & for those who do best with virtual greetings. The purpose of a MEET & GREET is to get to know your pet(s) with the parents present: this helps the new dogs adjust to my identifying smell and your pet(s) will focus in on your reaction to me: if you are nervous: your dog will then be nervous: if you are confident: your dog will then be confident: etc etc. About Sarah & her husband, Jose: “We have fostered many dogs and enjoy our time with each one. It’s great to see another dog loosen up and display their true personality. Every dog is treated as an individual; and We hope to gain their trust & respect during their time under our care here @FritoPawsLLC.“ During a DOG BOARDING service: I focus on basic training with your pet(s) while utilizing verbal and treat driven Praise to enforce good dog behaviors. I offer Kennel Training for any age dog: When requested OR needed for their safety. One dog per Kennel for bedtime within our designated Dog Kennel Set-Up located on our property and situated separate from our house which includes Window A/C unit set to 76 degrees. and are able to enjoy the great outdoors upon release from their kennels freely via the use of a doggie door which allows them to enjoy and explore our large 2 acre fully fenced in private dog park! Eating separately is a requirement and is SAFEST for all pets under my care. This part is NON NEGOTIABLE. ________________________________________ WHAT’S REQUIRED OF THE PET PARENT(S)??? *Rabies & Bordetella (aka. KENNEL COUGH) Vaccination Proofs are to be emailed to (once you decide to use my services) : fritopawsoffice which is a GMAIL Account. [Make sure to include your pet(s) first name & your last name in the SUBJECT line of your email; this makes it easier to search whenever Animal Control conducts a pop-up visit.] *Current Flea & Tick Prevention * Emergency Contact Information -You can provide this info in your proof of rabies vaccination as well. * Enough FOOD for your dog during their stay here * Medications (if needed at the time of their booked stay) During our daily training sessions I do provide treats, expect MilkBone Large or Mini dog treats, Beef Jerky Treats, Peanut butter on toast treats, sliced cheese treats, sandwich meat treats, etc etc. IF YOUR DOG IS ALLERGIC TO A TYPE OF TREAT: PLEASE INFORM ME BEFOREHAND! Be prepared for an ONSLAUGHT of video clips and pictures. I’ve been told that I’m amazing at pet photography and I certainly take pride in capturing dogs best poses and sleeping styles! **Subject to availability while caring for our young daughter.** LASTLY: To ensure no dogs feels a desire to become fetch’s greasier, playing fetch will not be permitted during their stay here; instead, milk bone treats or face red chew bones are provided in their kennels to ensure everyone is safe. No matter how long it takes, your dog will form a unique bond with me as I work daily to build up your dogs trust because let’s face it: my presence in a new environment and home is different and can be scary for your dog! DURING RAINY DAYS: All pets will be monitored for an elevated level of stress: typically when scared dogs cuddle with other dogs or humans they do just fine during bad thunderstorms; however, if your dog trembled incredibly bad for a minor rain shower, than your fur baby’s reactions for a bad thunderstorm will be intensified: if that is the case: consider CALMING CHEWS, THUNDERSHIRT, or TRAZADONE (must be provided via your Vet; this prescribed drug calms yours dogs’ nervous system down in a dramatic way, mainly used for the most nervous of dogs, and must be tapered when ready to stop its use, if you are unfamiliar with TRAZADONE, reach out to your vet and see if they recommend it for your fur baby.)

This was my first time hiring Sarah and I would do it again! She was very knowledgeable of dogs and very attentive to Ash. It was nice to feel that I could be 2 states away and trust that my fur baby was being cared for.

Sarah is wonderful! We drive to her 55 miles one way because she is the best sitter we have ever used. She has tremendous knowledge and understanding of how to deal with dog anxiety (we have one anxious pup) and she is skilled in administering meds. Her communication with me during their stays is beyond what is required and that makes me feel so comfortable. i know when she has our pups they are being cared for on the same level that i would care for them (if not better) Her property is better than our home. I love it when she keeps our two dogs because i know they are cared for and getting better exercise than they do at home. i cannot recommend her highly enough. She is the only sitter we will use. We plan our trips around her availability.

Sarah was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about dogs, training and approach to dealing with them. My dog was very well taken care and enjoyed being part of her dog pack. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up. I would definitely book her again for future boarding.

Hurricane Safety Plan: Should a hurricane direct near our farm: precautions will be taken: We will reach out to pet parents to see if they desire a family member to pick their fur baby up before a Hurricane Approaches: otherwise, we will follow this protocol: *Proper food for my husband and myself stored *Basic brand of dry dog food if a client dog runs out of their food due to inaccessible roads from trees being down. *bottled waters purchased to supply clean drinking water for dogs *Rain water collected for toilet usage to dispose of dog paste in our septic tank IF the outside is inaccessible or unsafe for the dogs. *we have 2 generators to assist and we use one Generator during the Daytime, and then let that one rest and we instantly crank up the second generator for night time usage; therefore: we always have AC air flow with a Swamp cooler & 2 window AC units as well as: lights, & small kitchen appliances (mainly for human consumption purposes.) We are far up north enough to hunker down and we will always plan to do so. If you prefer to have someone pick up your pet(s) in the event of the Hurricane Evacuation order: you will need to discuss those specific details with me in advance. Pets that are under my care that are sick, handicapped, or appear to be unwell: will be isolated at all times, they can still enjoy one on one playtime in the fenced in acre of land but must be separated as per the St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana Animal Services Guidelines. This is non negotiable.
