Pet care experience
I live in Albany with my fiance, who also provides pet sitting services. Pet sitting has supported me over the years with student loan payments as well as school and living expenses. I recently got engaged and so now pet sitting will assist with wedding budget in addition to the list above :) My ultimate goal is to help families feel at ease when on a trip. I love all pets and have provided care to a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I've cared for so many wonderful pets over the years including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, bearded dragon, fish, bunnies, and chickens. I've cared for dogs since they became part of my family when I was 6 years old and over the years neighbors, family, and friends have trusted me to care for their fur babies including oral medication administration, feeding, and walks.

Sarah has sat for us twice now and has been perfect both times. Super attentive to our dog and a joy to work with. She is definitely our first choice.
Sarah is such a great communicator and was very conscientious with the care she provided our dogs. Even when I didn't leave explicit direction, Sarah always made the right decision. Lots of great texts and photos. We would be very happy to have her watch the dogs again.
Sarah was very responsive, sent pictures and updates while we were gone. My dogs and cats loved her.
Fantastic job! Our pup was very happy when we got home and everything is in order. House is just as clean as when we left it and no non-dog items chewed up so I can tell she spent some time with him. Glad he got some snuggles and will definitely be a repeat customer!

Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know what kind of "mannerisms" the pets have, such as how they react around certain people (male vs. female) or how they react around other dogs. Additionally, medication information along with emergency vet contact info is helpful. I schedule meet and greets with most, if not all the owners I work for to ensure both the owners and pets are comfortable with me and I ask for a "how-to" guide to ensure I provide the best support and care possible.
A typical day
I try to stick to the dog's typical schedule as closely as possible. If there are dog parks they like to visit, I can take them there. Are there paths around your neighborhood you walk with your dog? Great, just show me where they are and I will walk your dog as if I were you. Playing on the floor with your dog and their toys is always a fun time, too.

Availability
I am working full-time in Albany, Monday-Friday approximately 8 hours a day. I make my own work schedule, so some days can be a little more or less than 8 hours.
