Hello fellow animal lovers! Growing up I've always had a love for animals and felt a strong desire to help as many as I could in anyway possible. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and have many years of experience with animals in personal and professional settings; working in the veterinary service industry for over 14 years, experience in doggy daycare/boarding facilities, in addition to offering pet care and dog walking services for friends, family, and my community. For the last 5 years I've been employed at an emergency veterinary hospital working in the ICU department. I consider my level of care and compassion for all animals to be gold standard and shows how passionate and committed I am to see happy, healthy pets thrive and be treated like any other beloved family member. I truly love what I do! I have 2 wonderfully weird cats at home, one of which is diabetic and requires daily insulin injections, special diets, supplements, and regular monitoring to make sure he is doing well. The other is a bit of a chunky monkey with urinary issues who requires special attention as well, so I understand how tough it can be with our busy schedules to make sure they're getting the care and attention they truly deserve. With my veterinary experience I am able to offer extra care to those pets who require medications, injections, and any other required treatments as needed. My schedule is fairly flexible; I am working shift work (varied hours each week) from Tuesday to Saturday until September, then will be on a Monday to Friday day shift schedule (excluding Wednesdays). I am able to bring your pets to work with me (with your consent of course) so they can get the playtime, cuddles, socialization, bathroom breaks, feedings, or any other treatments they may require without leaving them too long alone at home. I live in Airdrie and prefer to stay closer to home whenever possible (to make sure I can tend to my babies as well) but am definitely willing to travel further if need be.
