Dogs of all ages welcome!
Pet care experience
I was a full time, German Shepherd mom to two lovely dogs for 12 years (Ava) and 14.5 years (Emma). I had them both from 8 weeks until their very last day. Due to this, i have extensive experience managing dogs of all ages. Both of my dogs had incontinence later in life, so I'm accustomed to that lifestyle. I also understand puppies, teething, not sleeping at night, etc. I am open to giving medications, if necessary and am also familiar with a raw food diet (i can cut up a chicken with ease), or any types of other special diets. I know basic training commands and have patience to deal with any situation that would arise (emergency or otherwise).
Reviews
We love sarah! She has taken care of our border collie a number of times and she is our first choice when we travel. She is knowledgeable and kind and so easy to work with. Our dog always comes home happy, and I know Sarah genuinely loves her. It’s amazing to have peace of mind about pet care when traveling.
We love and are grateful to Sarah for taking such good care of our pup. It is so nice to know our dog is in good hands while we are away. 🐾
Sarah did a wonderful job watching Bevers. Communicative, helpful, and flexible. Very happy with the experience and pupper seemed to have a great time.
Mocha seemed to do great with Sarah! Sarah sent us lots of feedback & photos, which I loved. She knows a lot about dogs, and how to help Mocha adjust to her new surroundings. Thanks, Sarah!! 🐾

I live in a loft style apartment but have access to take walks and live next to a huge park (no stairs or elevator required). I have a giant big barker bed (to help with those hips) and also a small memory foam bed. I have accommodations for upstairs sleeping (in the bed) or downstairs (couch, foam bed). I plan to sleep wherever your pet seems to feel the most comfortable, even if that means the couch. Also, i do not have carpet so messes are not an issue.
Home
Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet
Dietary needs /feeding schedules /picky eater; medications/medical conditions (incontinence, etc); temperament; exercise expectations; sleep schedule/preferences; age (to prepare accordingly); allergies; separation and/or general anxiety issues.
A typical day
I will base activities according to what your pet likes. If they prefer to lay around all day, we will do that. If they need to play in the park for two hours, we will do that. I also have a long hallway to play fetch inside (if it's raining, etc.).
Services
Sarah can host
Availability
I work full time from home so i have the capacity for at least 3 walks per day (45-60 minutes). I understand separation and/or anxiety issues and plan to be available every minute. Worst case scenario, I may have to take a quick jaunt to the grocery store across the street (up to 20 minute trip max).
