Pet care experience
Growing up, our dogs were a quintessential component of our family. Every loving nuzzle, tail wag, and slobbery lick brought warmth and joy into our household. Raising an Australian Shepherd and a Cardigan Welsh Corgi taught me responsibility, dedication, and compassion from a very young age. As a pre-medical student beginning medical school next fall, I have translated these characteristics into my work caring for my patients. Dogs have continued to be vital in my life as I have been walking dogs and pet-sitting for over 10 years now. I have also completed volunteer work at the local animal shelter in Flagstaff, Arizona where I attended college. Additionally, I have assisted in the training of many dogs all the way from Pugs to Pitbulls, therefore I have experience with all different sizes and breeds of dog. I have recently moved to California and am looking to assist with the dog community here by walking, watching, playing with, and loving dogs. I have no other job since I am preparing for school therefore I have a completely free schedule. I am flexible with my hours and have no issue in waking up early and staying up late in order to meet the needs of your pup! Dogs are truly our greatest treasures and I believe they deserve to be treated with great respect, dedication, and love. Please allow me to help with your busy schedule and take care of your dog with my whole heart.

Sarah went above and beyond and was a wonderful choice for my pet sitting needs. She was very responsive, kept me up to date and sent pictures without ever being asked. She was kind and trustworthy and my pup loved her! I will absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone in our area that needs dog help- she is definitely an animal lover!
Looking for a pet sitter/dog walker is such a daunting task. We all want what's best for our pets when we aren't able to care for them ourselves. We have used Sarah multiple times for many reasons. She is all around such a fun and caring person who genuinely loves animals. Whenever she comes over to see Bentley, he is always so excited (which is a great sign to me!). She treats her dog like a member of the family and she does the same with mine. I've seen her around the neighborhood with other dogs and she is always so great. I couldn't ask for anything more. I know when I'm gone he is getting the love and care that he needs. If you need someone to walk your pup, or take care of him while your gone, Sarah will not disappoint!
Sarah is truly an amazing dog walker!!! She is reliable, knowledgeable and truly enjoys my dogs company. She keeps me posted with pictures as well as updates on her walks and she always makes sure to give our feline friend some love so she doesn't feel left out! Sarah really understands dogs and their behavior so I love feeling comfortable knowing that my boy is in good hands. I highly recommend Sarah as she has become part of our Family! ☺
Sarah is exceptional with dogs, both large and small. She understand the nature of dogs and is great at asserting herself as Alpha, while maintaining a loving hand. Whenever my boy, Asher, sees Sarah he is so excited and gets the "butt wiggles". She interacts and plays with the dogs and enjoys taking them for walks. Sarah is trustworthy and honest and I feel secure in allowing her into my home to watch/walk my boy. I strive to be well acquainted with your dog to create a trusting and loving relationship. This enables me to best assist with their care. I do not have any preferences in breed and I firmly do not believe in any negative stigmas associated with any particular breeds. All dogs are deserving of love. I will want to know about the age and typical energy level of your animal to gauge the amount and extent of play-time. I have worked with puppies from 8 weeks old and older dogs going through hospice care therefore I can accept dogs at any age. I would also like to know about the personality and sociability of your pup to understand what environments they should or should not be in. This will also prepare me for situations in which we encounter other humans or animals. Lastly, I want to know what training your dog has had so I know what commands to use and what to expect of them.
