Dog lover w/ 15+years experience!

Pet care experience

I grew up around pets from young age. Our family had a Wolf/Husky mix named Bobby. We were taught from young how to take care and train him. Fast forward about 15 years later... I adopted a beautiful 3 month old, Beagle/Hound mix pup named Sadie. Fast forward 4 years later and I foster-failed Sookie. They are now 5.5 and 1.5 years old and love to play. We will lovingly welcome your dogs/fur-babies into our home! I am also a foster parent for Paws Across Pittsburgh and love being able to take in pups and start showing them love as they transition to their furever homes!

This is Barkley’s third time staying with Sarah and he always has a great time staying with Sarah and playing with her dogs!

This is my dog, Barkley’s second time staying with Sarah and it was another great stay. Barkley can be anxious the first couple of days and Sarah always works with him to make him feel more comfortable. Barkley comes home from Sarah’s super tired so we know he had a great time! I will definitely use Sarah again in the future.

Very happy with Sarah and our dog loved his first vacay of his own!

Sarah was great! Our flights happened to fall at weird times, and Sarah was able to come to our house to pick Addie up on the first day of boarding and drop her back off on the last day. Addie loved playing with Sarah’s two dogs too!

Safety, trust & environment

I started to work from my office again. There are some days that I can have flexibility. If you need boarding during the week, your dog can remain in my home free or in their crate while I work- whatever they are trained for. When I do have to leave the house for work, I will usually take the dogs on a longer walk before and after work. Each dog is cared for on an individual basis, based on their specific needs.

Home

Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household

Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Sarah M. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if there is a schedule to follow; if there are certain things your dog does not like; if house trained or crate trained; is there resource guarding (food, toys, humans, etc.)

A typical day

We go on walks around my neighborhood. I have plenty of toys that are sanitized and disinfected between dogs. Treat dispensers, puzzles, balls, etc. I am always up for new training experiences as well! If they enjoy time with my personal dogs, they will have play time with them. If they are more human focused, then more individual attention can be given.
