My life has been surrounded and influenced by animals since before I was even born- I'm named after one of my great-Aunt and Uncle's cats, Sarafina! Fosters and adoptions left and right, my house has never had fewer than 20 legs running around. Through Rover I got a full-time job as a caretaker for a family of 4 dogs (now 5!) rescued from severe abuse. 3 of these pups are bulldogs with physical disabilities (e.g. incontinence, seizures from brain damage, paralysis), and all 4 with behavioral issues. The family also includes 2 cats- one being a rescued half-serval. Their demanding, resilient, endearing personalities have taught me many lessons; both tangible and intangible :^) I understand the anxiety that can come with putting your pet/s in someone else's hands, and I treat every one as if they were my own. Everything is so touch and go right now, so I'm very flexible with last-minute bookings and cancellations. If you have any questions I know putting your pet/s in someone else's hands can be anxiety inducing, and that the current circumstances are complicated and I understand the current circumstances have complicated everyone's lives in different ways. Rover's settings don't allow for a lot of nuance but I'd be happy to do what I can to accommodate, just shoot me a message :)
