My family has always had a dog growing up and they were always an integral member of the family. Our last dog named Ace was a german shepherd who was brutally tortured by his previous owner and we rescued him (he was going to be put down). He has some PTSD so he requires special care and can't be around other dogs, but he is in a loving environment. I have taken care of friends dogs when they go out of town - feeding them and giving fresh water, playing with them, walking them, taking them out to go to the bathroom and cleaning up after them, giving them love and attention. I would definitely say I'm quite passionate about animals - dogs in particular.
