For me, there is truly nothing better than getting to provide the love and affection a pup needs to thrive. We all know how important they are to our lives, so I love being able to give back to them and to my community all at the same time. No matter what your day is like or where you’re at in life, a dog is always there for you! And I believe that we should do the same for them. I don't have dogs of my own, but I do have a wide variety of exotic critters and cats of my own, in addition to tons of experience working with animals. I've been working as a dog walker and pet-sitter for over 16 years now. I started very young, but I slowly began incorporating special-needs dogs, exotic pets, and more! I currently am a full-time pet sitter with recurring clients and tons of experience with all kinds of breeds. I've worked with every kind of pup from a shy, abused shelter dog to helping train AKC German Shepherds. My experience also includes dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and ability levels. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. I feel that it’s a great opportunity for us to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, and it allows us the chance to talk about your pup and your expectations face-to-face! When meeting your pooch for the first time, I like to get down on their level and let them know that I am non-threatening and here to make friends with them. Once we become good buddies, i I feel like it just makes everything a lot easier! I also like to get as much information up front as possible, which includes things like behavioral issues or even seizures. I have lots of experience handling special needs dogs, so the door is always open! I also have no breed restrictions; all are welcome! I always structure the stays based on open and honest communication. I know that dogs are creatures of habit, so I will do everything I can to make sure that we stick to the instructions and schedule that you’ve outlined before the stay. I like to make tons of notes so I don’t forget anything! I will also make sure to send you tons of information related to how your pup is getting along, how they are feeling, and provide lots of pictures of how much fun we’re having together!
