Pet care experience
We are pet lovers! Sarah grew up with a Red Tri Australian Shepard, while Lucas grew up with cats. We now have the joy of raising our Blue Merle Australian Shepard together. We love multiple walks a day, fetch at the park and teaching tricks like high-five, sit pretty, "be shy" and play dead! We look forward to caring for your beautiful pets!

I couldn’t reassure anyone more that Sarah is a fantastic dog sitter. It was obvious upon meeting her that she’s a natural with dogs. Prior to dropping my dog Daisy off, and during my vacation, Sarah was a prompt communicator, and always sent me updates and photos. I appreciated that she asked if she could bring Daisy to the dog park (which Daisy definitely prefers, although obviously Sarah wouldn’t do that if you weren’t comfortable with the idea). Daisy also got along so well with Sarah’s dog Pepper, and I honestly really appreciate that Daisy had another playmate. Finally, Sarah had an extra crate, so there’s no need to lug a crate with you if you book her! I’ll definitely be booking her for my future trips!

We would use a leash to keep your dog safe around our home. We do have a stake with a long leash that we can place into the ground at the park which allows your pet space to free roam and play outside. Our puppy, Pepper, loves to have a roommate to play with and will help keep your fur baby comfortable! We will send daily updates about your pet staying with us including photos and how they're doing!

It would be important for me to know your dogs typical potty routine, if your dog gets along well with other dogs, feeding schedule and how much to give them, any dog behaviors to keep an eye on or look out for!
A typical day
The typical activities that we do with our current dog we would carry over and do with your dog! These fun activities include daily walks, doggie play dates (if your dog enjoys that kind of play), fetch/play time, indoor stimulation with tricks or lick bowls!

Availability
I currently work at a school and my husband's schedule allows him flexibility to work remotely occasionally. In the summers, I work part time! On the weekends, we spend our time doing outdoor activities like going to a state park, walking downtown Madison, or going to a dog park!
