Pet care experience
I spent over 4 years working at a professional boarding, daycare, and grooming facility. All of my neighbors, professors, and friends have regularly used me to dog sit for them. I have several years of fostering experience for rescues as well, working mostly with shy or nervous dogs. I'm especially attentive to medical needs and make sure all of the dogs I care for are given exactly what the vet (or pet owner) instructs. I love walking and try to walk 1-2 times a day; always happy to bring your pet along if they will enjoy it!

It was so easy to connect with Sarah to communicate my wishes for my pooch! And she didn't seem to mind at all that this was the first time I had spent this much time (10 days) without my dog so I kind of bugged her for pictures. Everything went so well...from drop off to pick up and in-between. Sarah sent daily pictures and gave me updates on how my dog was adjusting. I have a fearful puppy mill rescue that I was hesitant about leaving...Sarah and Joe have dealt with these fearful dogs and give them the space they need to feel comfortable. So appreciated that!! I will definitely reach out to them again when I need a second home for my dog.
Sarah has taken care of Pierce for us twice and both times we had a great experience. More recently, Pierce stayed in her house for 2 weeks and we were afraid he would not want to come back to us anymore. I will definitely use her services again.
Sarah and her partner were excellent dog sitters. She listened to my pets special needs and was well informed about dogs. She sent updates and pics and my dog had a great time!
Sarah was very responsive and communicated well before and during my dog’s stay. I appreciated the pictures she sent while I was away!

We recently adopted our 10th foster dog Woody, but he loves other dogs and we always keep him separated from Rover pups when eating or when left unsupervised. I have a 3-foot fenced yard in the back, but I am used to taking our large fosters out on a leash and would do the same for your dog unless you feel confident that your pup can't jump 3 feet.

Now that we have recently adopted our own fur baby, we prefer pups who are dog friendly. We have a special place for pups with allergies, as our own dog has food and environmental allergies and we know how important it is to keep other food out of reach.
A typical day
We love to go on walks after work and have playtime in the yard with us. We really love hanging with your pups while watching TV or working, so we have beds around the house for them to relax in when we can't play.

My schedule and my partner's schedules are both partially work-from-home, so there are rarely 8 hour periods when no one is home. I like to go on many walks before and after work, and love to take pups with me.
