I love pets, and they love me!
Pet care experience
I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have been a pet and house sitter for 10 years. I am comfortable with young and old pets (even those with special needs). I am happy to take them on long walks or snuggle on the couch. I love big pets, small pets, and furry pets (though I am less comfortable with scaly pets). I love my two dogs and will love on and care for your pet as I do my own.

Sarah has been amazing every time she has walked my dog. Very dependable. Flexible. Willing to help anytime I've needed her. Goes the extra mile to help. My dog responds so well to her and is so happy when he sees her. I can honestly say she makes my work day less stressful because I know my dog is in great hands!
Sarah has always been a loving, caring, and attentive caregiver for my dog (Phoebe). She goes out of her way to ensure that Phoebe feels right at home when she’s caring for her, and she is extremely responsive and responsible with her care. It probably goes without saying that Phoebe absolutely loves her — and it’s mutual!
Why I would trust Sarah with my pets.... I would trust Sarah for a number of reasons. First, she is my sister. I grew up watching her care for our family pets. We had two cats and a dog. Our cat Maxwell had thyroid issues and Sarah always helped give him his meds. She is a loving dog mom and when she comes to visit my cat loves it. She is a very responsible individual. When she has a task and she gets it done.
Sarah watched our beloved dog Maud for 4 months while we were backpacking South America. She sent us pictures while we were away, took her to her vet check-ups, and even worked on training her a little more. Whenever Maud sees Sarah now she absolutely loses her mind, Sarah is absolutely her favorite person (perhaps behind me, her owner.) I would trust Sarah to watch my dog any day, we trusted her so much that she watched our dog for four whole months :)

I would like to know the dog’s typical schedule (e.g., when do they wake up, eat, go outside, play, sleep), whether they are friendly with other animals, and any specific needs that you may require (e.g. special medications).
A typical day
I love taking dogs in long walks and dog-park play dates (assuming you want them to go to the dog park). I love practicing their friends tricks, but I am also perfectly content giving them love and affection on the couch.

Available for early morning, evening, overnight, or weekend pet/house sitting. I am a teacher during the school year, so I am free during the days throughout the summer.
