Over 10 years of experience as a zookeeper has provided me with skills that are highly transferable. I have experience of operant conditioning (positive reinforcement focus) training methods, administering medications if needed, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of animal behaviour. I have had pet dogs all my life, but my most recent beloved dog, Woody passed away in 2022, caring for him in his later years means I have experience with senior dogs with arthritis and plenty of experience administering medication.
