Pet care experience
I have over 15 years of experience owning and working with all kinds of dogs. I have handled dogs as a vet tech, trained in dogsports such as dock diving, barnhunt, and IGP, and have years of experience walking and sitting. I have two dogs of my own; an 8 year old German Shepherd named Ares and a 2 year old Ridgeback named Percy. I walk and board dogs of all ages from puppy to senior. If you are boarding with me, I am on fenced acreage so there is ample room for your dog to stretch their legs off leash. I look forward to caring for your dog like family!

Sarah was great! She was flexible and accommodating which is so helpful when you’re traveling. She sent tons of pictures and frequent updates which really put my mind at ease and allowed me to enjoy my vacation without worry. She was careful about introducing my dogs to hers to ensure smooth and harmonious interactions. She really got my boys. She was kind to my oldster who needed extra help. I will use her again.
This is the first time I use rover, at first I was very worried as I have to left my dog for about 20 days but I feel very lucky that I find Sarah to take care of my dog. I get a lot of pictures of my dogs during the stay and I can tell he is very happy. When I pick him up at Sarah's house, he was happy to see me but sad to leave.
I cannot say enough good things about Sarah! We have a rambunctious little puppy and she took him on last minute for doggy daycare and did a great job with him. He came home happy and tired. She even worked on some training with him. I definitely recommend her, we have already rebooked some services with her.
Sarah is a very knowledgeable and competent dog owner. I felt extremely confident that my dog would be well taken care of during doggie day care and I was right. Niya had so much fun and was exhausted when I got her home. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks Sarah!

Whether boarding or walking I care for your dogs like my own. I take my dogs on daily walks around the neighborhood, and on the 12 acres around our farm. They spend some of the day inside with me, and some time in the backyard if it is nice. When dogs are boarded for the day (or longer) I rotate dogs so that no dogs meet - unless it has been otherwise discussed.

Before I sit a dog, I want to know: 1. Feeding and potty schedule 2. Obediance your dog knows - sit, down, place, etc. 3. How is your dog socially with other dogs? How are they with Strangers? Children? 4. Quirks/things I should know (hates loud noises, Will dig under/jump over fence etc.) 5. Any expectations you have for me
A typical day
We like to explore the sights and smells around the farm, there's a lot of new stuff to look at with the chickens and horses! We also enjoy playing in the backyard, or going for a walk in the neighborhood.

Availability
I work from home as a graphic designer, so my job is very flexible. After feeding in the morning I take the dogs out for walks. Afterwards I rotate energetic pups through the backyard (if the weather is nice) while I do some work. Laid back pups hang out with me in my office. The backyard is fully fenced 6 ft, and I keep an eye on the dogs from my home office window.
