Pet care experience
As a child my family raised Springer Spaniels and I have surrounded myself with dogs and cats my entire life. I have been blessed to train pups and love and support those preparing to cross the rainbow bridge. I currently have a 2 yr. old 85lb black lab and have 3 grand doggies I care for on and off. Walks in the woods or at the beach with a pup of two is a joy to behold! It would be a pleasure to spend time with your best friend in your absence.

We just started having Sarah come to do walks and drop ins with Ruby. Ruby took to her immediately and we are so very thankful. She is very easy to work with and very friendly. I highly recommend her.
Sarah is a fantastic person and is INCREDIBLE with dogs. She has taken our Tito dog for walks, has done evening check-ins and even watched him over the weekend multiple times. She is always kind, on time and a has a fantastic connection with dogs.
Sarah’s love for dogs is evident in every interaction. She goes above and beyond every time to make sure the dogs she cares for are comfortable and happy. When she cared for my dog Marty, I was not worried at all about him. She brought him on nice walks, had special play time with him, and made sure he was socialized with other pups. Sarah also made me feel comfortable by sending pictures and notes about how Marty was doing. I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah as a dog walker/sitter.

If walking your dog, I like to know if your dog is loose leash trained or if I need to be prepared for some pulling. I have a dog who tugs and I bring treats to control that. Any tips to make the walk enjoyable for all is appreciated.
A typical day
I like to get down on the floor and connect with the dogs at their level. Give pats and playtime . Take them outside to "get busy" and walks if needed.

I work part time and have a very flexible schedule during the week and occasionally on weekends. I can be available in the evenings as well.
